The pandemic we are currently trenching through has brought changes to our habits, our routines, and our lives in general. Most of us made the leap to online platforms for shopping and communication. Once the initial chaos of re-organizing our lives settled down, we started to develop some healthy habits such as taking time to cook, exercise, and read.
Since many of us, depending on where we live were restricted during the lockdown, cooking at home and ordering online became the two most popular options.
Are these changes here to stay?
Will people revert back to their old habits once the pandemic is under control?
Has the pandemic changed us for the long-run, or are we all ready to get back to how we lived before?
The Restaurant Industry During COVID -19
Masked personnel, plexiglass barriers, and tables far apart are some of the new changes you will notice as you begin to come out from the strict COVID-19 restrictions. As our country begins to emerge from the firm restrictions, a whole new set of regulations are now in place, designed to prevent further COVID-19 spread in our communities.
During these past few months we have learned a lot about the virus’s behavior. However, at the same time, there is a lot we do not know. Therefore, we must adhere to all the measures in place.
Here, at Sunset Grill, we have adjusted our restaurant and the way we do business to continue to service our customers, always keeping in mind everyone’s safety and well-being.
We want our customers to know that we will keep rolling with the changes and making the best of every situation while continuing to serve our community since 1957!
Here is how we are rolling with the changes while continuing to serve you:
Online Ordering
We offer our customers the option to order online and enjoy our delicious dishes at home. While it might not be the same experience as coming to our restaurant, with a little bit of imagination, dining at home can still be a special event. Depending on where you are located and the restrictions in place, you can invite a few friends over, order your favorite Sunset Grill dishes and enjoy your day off from cooking.
Contactless Drop-Offs
Social distancing is a primary safety measure while discovering more about the virus and how it spreads. Therefore, we need to minimize the instances where we come into close contact with others. We are also aware that we need to reduce the number of objects we exchange with each other. Sunset Grill is using a contactless drop-off service for your safety.
Outdoor Dining
Sitting outside for a dining experience comes with more fresh air where COVID-19 infection is less likely to occur. We do our best to create an excellent outdoor dining experience while adhering to all safety regulations. So, for the ones who are ready to ‘reclaim’ part of the old norm, we are here and ready to serve you al fresco.
Social Distancing
Our on-site dining experience has been adjusted to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19. Our tables are spread out, and our sitting per table is limited. Although we do not like to turn anyone away when they visit our premises for an on-site dining experience, we are currently accepting fewer people in our restaurant to ensure that everyone is safe.
Masks and Gloves
Our personnel adheres to all the measures in place to offer you a dining experience according to national safety instructions. Face masks and gloves are meant to protect our customers, and our personnel in the event of an asymptomatic person is found amongst us.
If there is anything else we can do to help make you feel safe and comfortable while ordering online or dining in our restaurant, let us know.
Together we will get through these unprecedented times.
We want to thank you all for your continuous support towards our restaurant and we look forward to serving you Down at the Sunset Grill.
